When your bring home your puppy you are right there by their side cheering them on while they are exploring the world.  Your puppy thinks, "Wow!  This person is awesome!  They are so patient with me, they play with me every day and they are fun to be around." 
 
As time goes by and the puppy gets older the "fun time" is often replaced by "OBEDIENCE!" and it's not long before your dog wonders why things are so different.  This makes me sad because I know it doesn't have to be this way.  It IS possible to teach them while still having fun.  Don't get me wrong - obedience skills are vital but teaching them the fundamentals doesn't mean you have to make training boring.  When you add tricks to your training program the line between work and play gets blurry and your dog realizes listening to you is always important.  They develop a thirst for learning and you once again return to the person who is fun to be around.  

I've spent 10+ years as a dog trainer helping people with their dogs; I have taught dogs of all ages and sizes.  Once my students take their first tricks class they are hooked!  Their whole outlook on training changes.  They always become a better trainer which improved their obedience work and they go from frustrated and rigid to curious and surprised.  They realize how their dogs learn best, just how smart they are and how much fun they can have working together as a team.  I created this course to help everyone who shares their life with a dog have this transformation in their life.
